Why get EMDR Certified?

Certification provides clarity and confidence.

EMDR certification provides confidence and clarity for both clinicians and their clients. To become EMDRIA Certified in EMDR, clinicians complete 20 hours of consultation, where they demonstrate their ability to apply the EMDR standard protocol and procedures as developed by Francine Shapiro.

Certification strengthens clinical skills

Throughout the consultation process, clinicians have the opportunity to ask questions, receive individualized feedback, and strengthen their clinical skills. This supportive learning environment helps ensure they deliver EMDR with fidelity while continuing to grow in both competence and confidence.

Certification reflects a higher level of commitment

While many clients may not know the difference between an EMDR-trained therapist and an EMDRIA Certified therapist, certification reflects a higher level of commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing professional development.

Becoming certified helps build greater confidence and competence in your EMDR practice. It also demonstrates to colleagues and referral partners that you have invested additional time and effort to refine your skills and uphold the highest standards of care. Investing in your professional growth not only benefits your practice—it also enhances the quality of care you provide to your clients.

Want to be certified in EMDR?

I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your goals and determine whether we are a good fit for consultation.

If you and a colleague are interested in pursuing EMDRIA Certification together, I also offer both individual and group consultation options.

  • Individual Consultation: $100 per session
  • Group Consultation: $50 per person, per session (minimum of two participants)

Whether you prefer individual guidance or the collaborative experience of group consultation, I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward EMDRIA Certification.

Invest in yourself. Confidence has not price tag.
