Looking for Consultation Support?

I can support you.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and bring experience across multiple levels of care. My background includes work in community mental health, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), inpatient hospital settings, partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for substance use, and within the nonprofit sector.

I have supported diverse client populations across the lifespan and in a wide range of clinical presentations. If you are looking to consult on a case, staff complex situations, or gain a peer perspective, please feel free to reach out — I’m happy to connect and see how I may be of support.

My Credentials and Expertise

My Credentials & Expertise

Professional Certifications

I am a Certified and Consultant-in-Training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Certified and Consultant in Brainspotting, and a National Emergency Responder and Public Safety Certified Clinician. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Family Trauma Professional, and Certified Children and Adolescent Trauma Professional.

Advanced Clinical Training

My clinical approach is trauma-focused and integrative. I am trained in Parts Work and Inner Child Work, and my work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Structural Dissociation theory. I have advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Deep Brain Reorienting, attachment-based interventions, and the neurobiology of grief.

Additional areas of expertise include substance use treatment, the Multidimensional Inventory of Dissociation (MID), chronic pain, sand tray therapy, and play therapy. My work is grounded in extensive trauma training and a strong foundation in neurobiology and relational healing.

Professional Experience

I bring experience across multiple levels of care and diverse populations, including community mental health, the Department of Child Safety, psychiatric hospitals, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient group settings for adults and adolescents.

I have worked extensively with veterans, police, fire, and emergency response professionals, and have provided supervision to clinicians and other health professionals. My experience also includes supporting individuals in pregnancy crisis centers, members of the LGBTQ+ community, refugees, older adults, children, and adolescents.

This breadth of experience allows me to offer informed, compassionate, and culturally responsive care to individuals and families across the lifespan.

The Person behind the Therapist.

I view life as an ongoing opportunity to learn and grow. Even in the hardest seasons, meaningful change is possible when we choose reflection, courage, and forward movement. Our struggles do not have to define us. I have navigated my own challenges, grown through them, and now use those experiences to help others find their path toward healing and growth.

In my work, I offer a calm, supportive presence grounded in authenticity and a bit of humor. I am neurodivergent, and while that has brought its share of challenges, it has also deepened my empathy, resilience, and perspective. I believe mistakes are not failures — they are part of the learning process. The lessons I’ve gained from my own experiences have strengthened me both personally and professionally.

If you’re seeking someone you can grow alongside — someone who welcomes curiosity, values questions, and creates a space free from shame or judgment — I may be a strong fit for you.

This is my second career, and I truly love the work I do. In my first career, I served as a supervisor and trainer, where I learned the importance of structure, teamwork, encouragement, and thoughtful guidance. That foundation continues to shape how I support others in their professional development.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my son, and our four dogs. I hike several times a week to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of our sunrises. I also enjoy painting, exploring creativity, and engaging in playful connection with my younger parts.
